Troublesome Teppanyaki from Kobee Restaurant,Dundee

We entered Kobee Teppanyaki restaurant with excitement. This new kid on the block, situated in Dundee’s increasingly fashionable waterfront is both Teppanyaki and Steak House, which offers something for most palates.

We were greeted by a very welcoming manager, who accommodated an initial person being added to our booking with little fuss and took us to our table. Unfortunately he remained at the door greeting customers and the good service ended there.

Jute, Jam and Journalism: A whistlestop tour of Dundee

Heading back to Dundee on the banks of the silvery Tay for the weekend, was a bit of a homecoming for me- having left it 7 years ago, after 6 years of happy study there. Dundee is a great city to visit and often gets overlooked for weekend breaks. It is undergoing a lot of redevelopment at the moment and the new V&A, when completed, will put it firmly on the arts and culture map: but it already has so much to offer.

Deli Belly (not the gap year kind!!!!)

I felt it was fitting that for my first review, I should choose somewhere new to the west end – so please welcome Eusebi Deli as a west end newbie, recently opened at 154 Park Road in the Woodlands area of the West End.

Having heard good things about Eusebi’s deli in Shettleston but never having ventured there I was very excited to have this family run deli, with seating area, on my doorstep. So my husband (Colin) and I decided to meet there for a wee work day lunch. We were not dissapointed.
