Sometimes we all need a bit of a restorative break away don’t we and there is no better place for that than the Scottish seaside. It’s even better when you luck out on the weather like Colin and I did earlier this month. We got in our car, scraped the city of our feet, sang some obligatory Cliff Richard and 2 hours later emerged in our flip flops on the beautiful beach in Elie.
Last Saturday I was so excited to go to the Cromlix, near Dunblane. A restaurant and hotel, owned by none other than local boy and tennis champion Andy Murray. Which explains the two tennis courts next to the car park in the Wimbledon colours. The winning streak of this restaurant, however, did not stop there….
We entered Kobee Teppanyaki restaurant with excitement. This new kid on the block, situated in Dundee’s increasingly fashionable waterfront is both Teppanyaki and Steak House, which offers something for most palates.
We were greeted by a very welcoming manager, who accommodated an initial person being added to our booking with little fuss and took us to our table. Unfortunately he remained at the door greeting customers and the good service ended there.
